Dear Members,,
At 11:08am, on Friday, Sept 26, 2008, I recieved a PM from an anonymous person. I didn't actually read this PM until much later after it was sent to me. I'm not sure how many days or weeks had passed before I had seen it, but that doesn't matter. In the PM the anonymous person, who will remain anonymous said and I quote;
“As for the chaos that has overtaken the forum. Well, the only thing I can think off is to just delete all posts, or all rp posts. Maybe announce it and people can copy the posts they wish to keep. That kind of thing. Maybe it's just best to start over? Redo the lists. Find out who's really here and who left. Give people a certain amount of time to respond, up to month? I don't know, and I don't wish to act like it's my site, and I certainly don't want to step on your toes, but it does seem like some order needs to be restored. The posts are hard to follow and with key characters missing or in some cases doubled, it's getting kinda hard to post. Then again, it could just be me.”
I have thought about it for a while and decided to go with that idea because I agree that it's getting harder to post because some of the people we need to continue posting are not posting anymore.
Unfortunately those were not the only adjustments that were made. There were a few other things to sort out too, but those woren't that much as a problem to our forums as to some of the needed members unable to post at our forums.
So I that is why The Stargate Atlantis RPG was under construction and was scheduled to be back until either Sunday Nov. 23, but due to a family emergency and other issues the I had to postpone the date to work on it on the night of Monday Nov 24th so that it will be ready the next day.
If any members continued kept checking once in a while to see if you can continue role playing on our site and not give up on us than we thank you.
If there was any inconveniences, then we ask if you could please forgive us, these adjustments were for a good cause.
Sincerely,
Andrea O'Connell - Administrator of The Stargate Atlantis RPG
